Operator Programme

Run charging networks. We run the platform.

For people who want to build a business operating EV charging for others: hotels, shopping centres, condominiums, investors. You onboard the chargers, set the tariffs, watch the sessions, support the drivers and send the reports. That someone can be you.

Discounts, not commissions

An operator wins their own clients (charger owners, investors, site hosts, or existing CPOs), creates one organisation per client under a single Xingu account, and runs the operation through the Console.

You earn two ways: your own service fees (whatever you negotiate, Xingu takes no cut) and operator discounts on platform usage. Re-bill platform costs at list price and the discount becomes your margin. No payouts to track, no reverse invoices: Xingu simply bills less.

How it works

01
Join free, online

Create a free Xingu account and accept the Operator Programme terms: one click in the Console, discounts active. No paperwork.

02
Win clients, add organisations

Create one organisation per client under your account, each isolated, with its own branding, tariffs, drivers and payment account.

03
Run the operation

Charger onboarding, tariffs, monitoring, driver support and reporting, all from the Xingu Console.

04
Bill on your terms

By default Xingu invoices you (discounted) and you invoice your client your way; or a client pays Xingu directly at list and still counts toward your tier. Driver payments never pass through Xingu.

What you earn

Two income streams: your service fees, and operator margin on the R$0.12/min platform fee: up to 25% as your total chargers grow, and 50% during each new client's first 6 months.

Sales discount: new clients

Each new client organisation gets 50% off the per-minute platform fee for its first 6 months, starting once it has at least one active charger. At list R$0.12/min you pay R$0.06/min, and this applies only to that new organisation's chargers, not across your other organisations.

The rules
  • A charger counts as active when it logs at least 500 charging minutes in the month. Idle chargers don't count toward your volume tier.
  • Your volume tier is recalculated monthly from your total active chargers.
  • If a new client organisation churns within 60 days, its sales-window discount is invoiced back.

*Reference: 3 sessions/day, 60-minute sessions; your service fees are on top. The volume tier is set by your total active chargers. The 50% sales window applies separately to each new client organisation's own chargers for its first 6 months, and doesn't stack with the volume tier.

A new client organisation's first 6 months are 50% off (once it has an active charger): that's R$324.00 platform margin per charger, applied only to that organisation's chargers.

Margin assumes you re-bill platform usage to clients at list price; your service fee is your own commercial deal (Xingu takes no cut). Estimates only.

Operator Programme FAQ

No. Xingu is 100% online. You accept the platform Terms of Service when you create your account, and the Operator Programme terms when you join: both online, both the same published terms for everyone. No negotiation, no signatures, no paper.

No. Most operators never own hardware. Your clients own the chargers (or buy them with your guidance); you operate them. Xingu is hardware-agnostic: any OCPP 1.6 or 2.0.1 charger works.

Operations: onboarding chargers, configuring tariffs, monitoring sessions, supporting drivers, monthly reporting. Your client gets a working charging business without hiring anyone. What you charge for that is entirely your decision, Xingu takes no cut.

Your client. Each client is a separate organisation with isolated data, branding, tariffs, drivers and payment configuration. You manage it; they own it.

It never passes through Xingu: driver payments go straight to the Stripe account configured on the organisation. Whose account that is, is your choice with your client. Either way, Xingu is never in the money flow.

By default, you do: Xingu invoices your operator account for the platform usage of the organisations you manage, at your discounted rate (list fee R$0.12/min). You re-bill your client at the price you agree. A client can also pay Xingu directly at list, the organisation still counts toward your tier.

Two layers. Volume tier by your total active chargers: 10% up to 49 chargers, 15% at 50–149, 20% at 150–399, 25% at 400 or more, recalculated monthly. Sales window: 50% off for a new client organisation's first 6 months, once it has at least one active charger, applied only to that organisation's chargers, not across your portfolio. They don't stack; for those chargers the sales window applies first, then your volume tier.

Your total active chargers. A charger counts as active when it logs at least 500 charging minutes in the month. Idle chargers don't count toward your volume tier: the programme rewards real operations.

Nothing. The account is free, the programme is free. You pay Xingu's standard usage fees for the organisations you manage (the per-charger fee, the per-user fee and the per-minute charging fee) with your operator discount applied to the per-minute fee. There are no plans or tiers to buy.

Your tier follows your total active-charger count, so it adjusts monthly in both directions. If a brand-new organisation leaves within 60 days, the sales-window discount for it is invoiced back: this keeps the programme honest.

It's a clawback to stop the discount being gamed. The 50% sales discount rewards bringing a real, lasting client onto the platform. So if a brand-new organisation cancels within 60 days of being created, Xingu re-bills the discount it already received (the difference between your discounted rate and list price) on your next invoice. It applies only to that organisation's usage and only to its sales-window discount; nothing else is affected. Any organisation that stays past 60 days keeps its discount in full.

Their organisation transfers to their own account, intact: chargers, history, drivers, payment setup. We built it this way deliberately: charger owners hire operators more readily when they know they're not locked in. Your service quality is what keeps the client.

Yes. Run your own network in your own organisation and manage client organisations alongside it in the same account. Only managed client organisations count toward the programme tiers.

No. Brazil is large and the infrastructure gap is larger. You compete on service, not on a map.

Every organisation on the platform accepts Xingu's standard Terms of Service. The operations contract (scope, fees, service levels) is between you and your client.

Driver data in each organisation belongs to that client organisation as controller; Xingu processes it under the platform terms; you access it as the organisation's authorised manager. The Programme terms include the data-protection commitments.

Operator Programme Terms

Version 1.0 · accepted online with one click · governed by Brazilian law. These terms supplement the platform Terms of Service (these win on discounts) and may be updated with 60 days' notice.

The Programme gives discounts on platform fees to accounts that operate charging organisations for third parties; it supplements the platform Terms of Service, is accepted with a click in the Console, and may be updated with 60 days' notice (changes apply prospectively).

Defines Managed Organisation, Active Charger (a charger with ≥500 charging minutes in the month, the unit of the volume tier), List Fees (Xingu's standard published prices: the per-charger fee, per-user fee and per-minute charging fee), and Sales Window (the first 6 months after a new Managed Organisation gets its first Active Charger: the discount applies only to that organisation's chargers).

Joining is free and online (a Xingu account in good standing + accurate business details); membership is non-exclusive with no territory; each Managed Organisation must map to a real, identifiable client; abuse may lead to declined or revoked membership.

Discounts apply to the per-minute usage fee only (the charger and user fees are always at list): a 50% Sales Window (50% off the per-minute fee for a new organisation's first 6 months once it has an Active Charger, applied only to that organisation's own chargers) and volume tiers of 10/15/20/25% at 1–49 / 50–149 / 150–399 / 400+ active chargers. Discounts don't stack, the tier is recalculated monthly, and a 60-day clawback applies.

By default Xingu bills the operator's account monthly in arrears (net of discounts); what the operator charges clients is their own business; a client may pay Xingu directly at List Fees (still counting toward tier); non-payment suspends discounts first, then platform access.

Operate with reasonable skill and care and comply with applicable law; the relationship between Xingu and the operator is strictly B2B: the operator uses Xingu purely as its back-office software, never acts as Xingu's agent, and does not present, brand or hold the service out as Xingu to its clients or their drivers (to the driver, charging is provided by the operator's client, e.g. CPO XYZ); do not game the Programme with fake organisations, artificial sessions or usage manipulation.

Each Managed Organisation's data belongs to the client; on request (including after the relationship ends) Xingu transfers the organisation intact to a client-designated account; driver payments run through each organisation's own payment provider and the operator gains no right to those funds.

The operator participates as an independent business; the terms create no employment, agency, partnership, joint venture or franchise (no entry fee, royalty, imposed business model, or territory): nothing is an offer under Lei 13.966/2019 (Franchise Law).

For driver personal data the client organisation is controller, Xingu is processor under the platform terms, and the operator accesses it solely as the organisation's authorised manager; the operator complies with Lei 13.709/2018 (LGPD) and reports personal-data incidents without undue delay.

The operator can leave anytime in the Console (discounts stop at month-end; organisations continue at List Fees); Xingu can end membership with 60 days' notice or immediately for abuse/breach; Managed Organisations continue at List Fees or transfer to clients; accrued billing obligations survive.

The liability provisions of the platform Terms of Service apply; these terms are governed by Brazilian law, with forum in the courts of the Comarca de São Paulo, SP.
